For Families

You're part of the plan, every step of the way

From the first call to everyday wins at home, we keep ABA clear, human, and never overwhelming — and you always know who's doing what. We are accepting inquiries now; services begin once our clinical team is in place.

What to expect

01

A first call with us

You reach out, and a real person at Acorns to Oaks calls you back. We listen first: your story, your hopes, your questions. No pressure. We will also be straight with you about timing: services begin once our clinical team is in place.

02

Assessment with our BCBA

Once our clinical team is in place, our own Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will get to know your child, set meaningful goals with you, and write the treatment plan. We will review costs and payment options with you in writing before services begin.

03

Sessions begin with your RBT

Your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will bring the plan to life in your home, at school when the plan calls for it, and in your community, with our BCBA supervising along the way.

04

Growing together

Data from every session will go back to our BCBA, who will adjust the plan as your child grows and provide caregiver training. Your RBT will keep you in the loop, so the good days keep going between visits.

Who does what

Three people make this work, and it helps to know which is which. If you are ever unsure who to ask, start with us — we will point you the right way.

Your RBT

Your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will deliver every one-to-one session in your home, at school when the plan calls for it, and in your community, following the treatment plan, taking data each visit, and keeping you in the loop.

Our BCBA

Your child's Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will be a member of our own clinical team. Our BCBA will get to know your child at the assessment, write the plan, supervise your RBT's sessions, and teach you the strategies behind it. Billing will be handled directly by Acorns to Oaks, and we will review costs and payment options with you in writing before services begin.

You

You know your child better than anyone. You stay present during home sessions, join caregiver training, and tell us what matters most. Your priorities shape the goals.

Early preview of BridgeLog, a family app in development
What we're building

BridgeLog

BridgeLog is a family app we are building ourselves at Acorns to Oaks. It is still in development and is not part of the services described on this page. We will share more with families when it is ready. Until then, your RBT will fill you in after each visit, in person.

Small Steps. Strong Futures.

Let's take the first one together.
