1. Who We Are
Acorns to Oaks Behavioral Services LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is a Florida limited liability company based in DeLand, Florida, accepting inquiries from families in Deltona, DeLand, Orange City, Lake Helen, and DeBary (West Volusia). Services begin once our clinical team is in place. When they do, our Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will deliver one-to-one, in-home, school-based, and community-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) sessions under our own Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), who will perform the assessment, write and oversee the treatment plan, supervise the RBT, and provide caregiver training. Acorns to Oaks does not currently bill families or insurers; when services begin, billing will be handled directly by Acorns to Oaks. Contact: support@acornstooaks.healthcare. 2. Information We Collect
- Contact Form: We collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), area of interest, message content, and technical metadata including your IP address when you submit our contact form.
- Consent to contact: Our contact form includes a required checkbox. When you check it, we record that you agreed (with the date, time, and the version of the consent text) that Acorns to Oaks may contact you by phone call, text message, or email about your inquiry.
- Analytics (GA4): If — and only if — you accept analytics cookies on our cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 to collect aggregated usage data (pages visited, session duration, general region). If you decline, the analytics script is never loaded and no analytics data is sent to Google. We do not load analytics on our consultation-request or thank-you pages under any circumstances.
- Cookies: When you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets cookies containing a random identifier to distinguish sessions. These cookies do not include your name, email address, or other direct identifiers.
- Fonts: Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests a font file, Google receives standard technical information such as your IP address and the page address.
- Job applications: If you apply to work with us, we collect the information you submit (name, contact details, position of interest, certification number if provided, work-authorization status, and any message) and your resume. We use it only for recruitment, store it in our company Google Workspace with access limited to those involved in hiring, and retain it in line with applicable employment record-keeping requirements. You may request deletion at any time, subject to records we are required to keep.
Important: Our contact form is not a HIPAA-compliant communication channel. Do not include diagnoses, insurance information, medical records, or other Protected Health Information (PHI) in your message. If you need to share sensitive or health-related information, contact us at support@acornstooaks.healthcare and we will arrange a secure method of communication with you.
3. How We Use Your Information

No sharing of inquiry information. Your inquiry stays with Acorns to Oaks. We do not share it with any outside practice or other third party for their own purposes. You can withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time by replying STOP to any text message or emailing support@acornstooaks.healthcare, and we will stop contacting you. Consent is not a condition of receiving services.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party, and we do not share it for marketing purposes.
4. How We Store Your Information
Contact form submissions are processed by our own cloud backend and stored in our secure, access-restricted system (Google Cloud / Firebase). We retain contact inquiry data for 90 days, after which it is automatically deleted. We use the IP address associated with your submission only to prevent abuse of the form. If you accept analytics, analytics data is stored by Google in accordance with Google's privacy policy; Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses.
5. Analytics & Your Choices
Analytics is off by default. Google Analytics 4 loads only after you click "Accept" on our cookie banner; if you decline, no analytics script is loaded and no data is sent to Google. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's browsing data, which resets the banner. You may additionally install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
6. HIPAA
Acorns to Oaks is committed to protecting Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA to the extent it applies to us. This website and its contact form are not HIPAA-compliant communication channels, and submitting the form does not create a clinical relationship. How health information is handled in clinical care is described in our Notice of Privacy Practices. See also our Terms of Use. 7. Data Security
This site is hosted on Google Firebase and served exclusively over HTTPS. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect submitted data. No internet transmission method is 100% secure.
8. Children's Privacy
This website is directed to adults (parents, guardians, and caregivers). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, please contact us immediately.
9. Third-Party Links
This website may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to review their policies.
10. Your Rights
You may contact us at any time to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Email support@acornstooaks.healthcare.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the date of the most recent revision.
